Grace and Truth Christian Academy opened in 2022. For 2024-2025, we will be offering a K4, Kindergarten and 1st Grade class. We plan to add one grade level each succeeding year but will consider other options based on community suggestions.
Advantages of a Classical Christian School
We are a classical Christian school that is a community of parents and teachers who share a commitment for teaching children to love learning and grow in godliness. Bible courses and Bible memorization are not just added to the students’ day; all subjects are viewed through the lens of Scripture. Smaller class sizes also aid in student learning and development.
Our school will provide a rigorous Christian curriculum; helping children become disciples of Christ by providing a well-rounded education based on God’s Word, Christian values, biblical teaching and academic excellence.
We can provide smaller class sizes that foster a learning environment where teachers are free to instruct using positive Christian values and teaching children Christian principles including truth, grace, love and respect.
Accreditation Statement
Accreditation and State Approval Grace and Truth Christian Academy (GTCA) is a member of the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) and the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS). As of October, GTCA is nationally accredited through ACTS. GTCA is also recognized by the Oklahoma State Department of Education through its membership in the Oklahoma Private School Accreditation Commission (OPSAC).

Greg Ray
Director/Administrator
Hello, I am Greg Ray, and I am excited to be a part of Grace and Truth Chrisitan Academy. Our family moved to Blanchard in 2001. I have been married to my wife Linda for 39 years and we have three children. I served 20 years as a pilot in the United States Air Force. Upon retirement and after serving one year at the Federal Aviation Administration, I felt God calling me in a different direction. I served as an assistant pastor for the Blanchard Methodist Church for 13 years and worked part-time for the Blanchard Public Schools as a P.E. teacher and coach.
Our goal and our prayer is that we provide a Christian environment that fosters a classical Christian education that prepares children & youth to be disciples of Christ, students of God’s Word, and able to engage culture biblically. We will strive to teach children to think well and think for themselves with a Christian worldview as their model.

Monica Schnell
K-4 Teacher
My name is Monica Schnell and my husband and I have lived in Blanchard for the past 18 years. I grew up close by in Mustang, Oklahoma. After high school, I attended the University of Oklahoma. I graduated from OU with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I student taught first grade at Blanchard Elementary School in 2004 and began my teaching career in first grade the following year. I taught first grade until the arrival of my first son and chose to stay at home with him. We were then blessed with another son a couple of years later. During my time as a stay-at-home mom, I chose to get my early childhood certification. I always knew I would return to teaching, so when my youngest son started school, I returned to the classroom. For the past seven years, I have had the pleasure of teaching Pre-K at Blanchard Elementary.
